This summer, the band "Quattroleum" (founded in spring 2011) gives their first concerts.
All four musicians - Gottfried Barcaba, Reinhard Hörschläger, Georg Mittermüller und Sabine Pyrker -
studied classical percussion with professor Leonhard Schmidinger at the Konservatorium Wien Privatuniversität.
The concerts of Quattroleum demonstrate the fascinating world of percussion, that incorporates a wide range of instruments.
Starting from the "classical" drum set, the journey goes from melodic instruments like vibraphone and marimbaphone to the
most exotic percussion instruments.
All concerts of Quattroleum will for sure be published on this homgepage.
Already well established concerts in the year 2011 will be accompanied by interesting new dates. The year starts
with some blues- and boogie-woogie-highlights in January: besides a trip to the BP Club of Boško Petrović in Zagreb
together with Dana Gillespie and Joachim Palden Sabine will play at the "Stars of Boogie and Blues" concert in the Konzerthaus
Vienna and at the "10th Schl8hof Blues Festival" in Wels. Further highlights in the schedule are several concerts with Martin
Grubinger and Friends. In addition Sabine will give a few performances together with her brand-new percussion ensemble "Quattroleum",
that she founded together with colleagues from the Konservatorium Wien University.
For sure all dates will be published on this homepage.
